Bonjour à tous ! C’est Vanessa Montanari du blog de la recherche clinique pour pharmaspecific.

Aujourd’hui, je vais vous présenter une nouvelle situation. Vous avez un certain nombre d’infirmières ou infirmiers dans le service qui participent à l’étude clinique et malheureusement il n’est pas possible de recueillir les CVs de tous ces infirmiers et infirmières. Il n’est pas possible, que faire ? 

Quand je dis n’est pas possible, il arrive parfois que dans cet hôpital, ils trouvent contraignant de vous transmettre les CVs de tous les infirmiers et infirmières qui travaillent dans le service et qui pourraient être amené à travailler sur l’étude. De votre côté, vous avez besoin que la « délégation log » ou formulaire de délégation des tâches soit à jour. Donc, vous avez besoin de savoir qui a travaillé sur cette étude et sur vos patients. Donc, par conséquent, ce que je vous propose, c’est de créer un formulaire de délégation des tâches spécifiques des infirmiers et infirmières de l’étude clinique. Ce formulaire ressemblera à un formulaire de délégation des tâches classiques mais il restera avec le cadre de santé qui dès qu’un nouvel infirmier ou nouvelle infirmière participera à l’étude, il lui fera compléter pour pouvoir noter telle infirmière à participer à telle date, cela a commencé à telle date, avec les initiales de cette infirmière et la signature de l’infirmière. Comme ça vous aurez la liste de tous les infirmiers, infirmières qui ont participé et s’ils ne veulent pas vous donner le CVs de tous ces infirmiers et infirmières, vous réclamer à minima le CV du cadre de santé, qui gère les infirmiers et les infirmières.  Donc, ça c’est une solution. Parfois, ils veulent bien donner les CVs, donc tant mieux à ce moment-là. Vous récupérez les CVs de tous les infirmiers et infirmières. Mais si jamais ils ne veulent pas, à minima le CV du cadre de santé. Il faut également que le cadre de santé prépare un formulaire de formation pour montrer que chaque infirmier ou infirmière a été formé à l’étude avant de débuter ou de travailler sur l’étude. Donc, bien sûr il faut ce formulaire.

Hello everyone! This is Vanessa Montanari from the clinical research blog for Pharmaspecific.

Today, I’m going to present you with a new situation. You have a number of nurses in the department who are participating in the clinical study, and unfortunately it’s not possible to collect CVs from all of them. It’s not possible, what can you do?

When I say it is not possible, sometimes in this hospital they find it constraining to send you the CVs of all the nurses who work in the department and who may be involved in the study. For your part, you need the « delegation log » or task delegation form to be up to date. So, you need to know who worked on this study and on your patients. So, therefore, what I am proposing is that you create a task delegation form specific to the nurses in the clinical study. This form will look like a classic task delegation form but it will stay with the health care setting, which as soon as a new nurse participates in the study, it will have him or her complete it to be able to note which nurse participated on which date, it started on which date, with that nurse’s initials and that nurse’s signature. That way you will have the list of all the nurses who participated and if they don’t want to give you the CVs of all these nurses, you will at least ask for the CV of the health executive, who manages the nurses. So that’s one solution. Sometimes they do want to give you the CVs, so that’s fine then. You get the CVs of all the nurses. But if they don’t want to, at the very least, the health executive’s CV. The health executive should also prepare a training form to show that each nurse has been trained in the study before starting or working on the study. So, of course we need this form.
