Laura gave us her testimony for her year of Mentoring (our challenge 2016) that you can read below. She now has a permanent contract as a CRA in a CRO. I was happy to help her in her project, she is an extremely professional and committed woman.

Hello everyone,

I am very happy to be able to give my testimony on my year of mentoring with Vanessa Montanari.

My name is Laura, and after a little more than ten years in fundamental research, I am now working as a clinical research associate.

I participated in the contest proposed by Vanessa, in order to have advice and feedback on this new profession in which I was engaged. The objective was to obtain a permanent contract in one year.

It’s been a year since I had the chance to enjoy a year of mentoring with Vanessa. Over the past few months she has shared with me her experience on CRA’s life when communicating on Skype or by phone and at a very nice dinner. We discussed various topics: how to prepare for a monitoring or an implementation, the necessary tools, useful applications on smartphones, anecdotes, how to react to certain situations … but also opportunities presented by the CRA profession.

Our exchanges have been truly enriching and constructive.

A successful bet … Last month, I accepted a permanent contract. Our common objective has therefore been achieved in less than one year. BRAVO and THANK YOU Vanessa for your investment and your support during our discussions.

Now, it’s up to me to keep moving forward.
